In 1992, the PowerLift founders designed and introduced the world’s first production hydraulic door line. You’ll notice that PowerLift doors close far more quietly than other hydraulic doors. We have experience with smaller doors, mid-size doors, and those well over 100′ wide.

Our exclusive patented HydAway doors and walls offer fully concealed hydraulic systems when closed for the cleanest, smoothest appearance of any door or window made today.

One unique feature is our ‘Cushion Close’ cylinder design. Our cylinders reduce speed over the last few degrees of travel when closing, shutting more quietly than other walls and doors provide.

We’re the only company that manufactures, delivers, and installs each door, with manufacturing locations found across the continent.

We also have the door industry’s only single-unit structure! Our all-welded panels eliminate the use of bolts and screws, which fatigue and loosen over the years. HydAway has absolutely the tightest weather seal of any door.

Additional safety features are available with our integration of the Door Pilot which autonomously scans an area prior to moving the wall; all while using an app on your smartphone!

Safety Features

Handheld remotes come with every door and multiple doors can be controlled on one remote. There are other control options such as a keyed switch or cell phone app, among others.

Control Options

ADA compliance is easier to meet when you don't have to deal with tracks in the floor for this type of window wall. Once the wall is open, it then becomes an awning for additional comfort.

HydAway also creates lower structural loading than other opening wall options. Every HydAway patented product is simple, functional, and low maintenance.

Which is the best fit for you, HydAway or PowerLift?
